WTF?!

What The Food?! was launched at the 2022 Unitec Gradshow-selling out in an hour!

Design students from second and third year collaborated on a project to develop alternative snack foods with a healthier and more sustainable philosophy. Starting out with exploring their own cultural heritage, the team then began designing the actual food products.

After several phases of prototyping and taste-testing (from yuck - to yum). The final snack products ranged from crackers made from insects (Cricky-Bix), and chocolates with random amounts of hot-chilli inside (Hot-Chocolate).

The final phase was more familiar territory for the designers-brand design, posters, packaging, and custom decals for the vending machine.

My key role in this collaboration is to produce a variety of posters for the marketing campaign of the brand, products, and project.

Nooty Bears is a product that consists of healthy properties from a beverage called Arepa, adding a twist by jellifying it into a snack using a key ingredient of Agar-Agar powder.
